CNC Machine Operator
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for full-time, regular hourly positions as CNC Machine Operators. Positions are available for the third shift: Sunday through Thursday (11:00 pm to 7:00 am) or second shift: Monday through Friday (3:00 pm to 11:00 pm). The pay rate ranges from $25.65 to $26.16 per hour, plus additional compensation for working different shifts. A $500 Sign-On Bonus is available after completing 60 working days. Please note, mandatory overtime may require coming in early, staying late, and/or working on Saturdays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Set up and operate the machine to cast parts and perform tasks related to operating CNC machines.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet specifications and determine the need for machine adjustments.
- Review guides, samples, charts, specifications, and consult with supervisors to understand setup requirements.
- Manage machine start-up, monitor operations, make necessary adjustments, and halt operations after producing the specified quantity.
- Inspect machines for needed adjustments.
- Interpret blueprints, plans, materials, specifications, and drawings, understanding machining parameters.
- Ensure machine settings are correct by measuring positions and checking the initial parts and sample workpieces against international standards.
- Maintain product specifications by monitoring drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, and thread chasing operations; conduct measurements; identify malfunctions; troubleshoot processes; adjust and reprogram controls; replace worn tools; and adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
Additional Requirements:
- Availability for all shifts and potential mandatory overtime is required.
- Must be able to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
- Experience with power tools, air tools, and other vibratory tools is necessary.
- Must be able to work from a standing position for extended durations.
- May involve working around heavy machinery.
- Previous experience as a machine operator and experience in a manufacturing environment are preferred.
