CNC Lathe Operator

Schedule: Monday–Friday 2:30 PM–11:00 PM (may extend with workload)
Pay: $24–$30/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and run CNC lathe and mill machines independently
Machine oil and gas components to tight tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Work with API, Premium threads, and oilfield threading standards
Edit and optimize CNC programs at the machine
Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds
Troubleshoot machining issues and improve efficiency
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Follow all safety and quality procedures

Required Qualifications

2-4 years of CNC Lathe experience in a machine shop environment
1+ year machining Premium Threading Connections (must have)
Strong knowledge of CNC setup through production
Experience machining oil and gas or other precision components
Ability to run jobs from print to completion
Experience editing CNC programs (G-code or conversational)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Fanuc, Okuma OSP, or similar controls
Knowledge of oil and gas materials
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
