Salary: $245,000.00 - $265,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex CMBS lawsuits and related commercial real estate matters.
- Lead thorough investigations and draft critical legal documents including discovery requests and responses, as well as various motions.
- Manage extensive document productions and actively participate in depositions.
- Craft and enforce protective orders and supervise deposition assignments along with other motion-related projects.
- Cooperate closely with team members to deliver unparalleled client service in high-pressure scenarios.
- Contribute to the overall success of the practice through meaningful collaboration and keen legal insights.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic background.
- Current bar admission in the office’s jurisdiction.
- 2–4 years of experience in commercial real estate finance litigation, including handling related transactions.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage diverse discovery-related projects efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in bankruptcy litigation is advantageous.
- Substantial experience with motion practice, including drafting and filing.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within a dynamic setting.
- Interest and capacity to mentor less experienced associates and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Familiarity with industry-standard legal research tools and document management systems.
