Our client has multiple opening for CLS's who are looking for a reduced workload and great work/life balance.

DUTIES:

• Performs all tests in lab to obtain data for the physician used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Assumes duties of Lab Assistants in their absence.
• Must be able to work independently and successfully accomplish minor administrative and technical duties normally taken care of by the Chief Medical Technologist.
• Participates in other duties relevant to laboratory services, patient care, and the safety of hospital employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current CA Clinical Laboratory Scientist license. Current CPR card. Experience in all routine areas of the clinical lab.
• Microbiology experience strongly preferred or be willing to be trained in Microbiology.
• Successful experience in dealing with the public.
• Demonstrated ability to work alone.
