Job Title: Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to clients, assisting with their commercial insurance needs, answering inquiries, processing policy changes, and ensuring timely and accurate communication.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial lines clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
Manage policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and other service-related tasks in a timely manner.
Assist clients with billing questions, claims reporting, and coverage explanations.
Provide accurate information regarding policy coverage, exclusions, and changes.
Maintain and update client records in the agency management system.
Coordinate with insurance carriers to ensure proper servicing of accounts.
Prepare certificates of insurance and other documentation as requested by clients.
Monitor and follow up on pending policy changes or renewals.
Support producers by gathering information for quotes, proposals, and client presentations.
Maintain compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in commercial insurance customer service or a related field.
Active Property and Casualty insurance license (or willingness to obtain one).
Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
