About Us:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Prosecutor to lead our dedicated team of legal professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the prosecution process, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively prosecute criminal cases.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to assistant prosecutors and legal staff.
  • Review case files, evidence, and legal documents to prepare for trial.
  • Represent the District Attorney's Office in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, victim advocates, and other stakeholders to ensure successful prosecution outcomes.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in criminal law and procedure.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to cases and prosecutions.
  • Handle sensitive and high-profile cases with professionalism and integrity.
  • Serve as a liaison between the District Attorney's Office and the community, promoting transparency and accountability.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Arizona State Bar and eligibility to practice law in the state of Arizona.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as an attorney, with 4 years as a prosecutor (felony criminal cases), and at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Some experience in federal Indian law
  • In-depth knowledge of criminal law, court procedures, and rules of evidence.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to upholding justice and fairness.
  • Experience handling complex and high-profile criminal cases preferred.
  • Residency or willingness to relocate to Sun Lakes, Arizona.
