Job Description

We are looking for a CFO to work for our growing Columbus Client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
  • Oversee treasury functions, including cash management, capital structure, and financing activities.
  • Implement and monitor effective internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting.
  • Lead M&A activities, including financial due diligence, valuation, and integration.
  • Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 15+ years of Finance experience with 7+ years of experience in a Senior Leadership role
  • Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, and strategic planning.
  • Proven track record in managing financial operations for a large, complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in M&A activities, including valuation, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
