Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO Americas for a non-asset based global logistics provider with revenues in excess of $1.5 billion dollars. The company is a global third-party logistics provider delivering end-to-end supply chain management, including air and ocean freight forwarding, project logistics, ground transportation, warehousing & distribution and customs brokerage services.
The CFO Americas provides commercial, operational, and financial leadership & support to the organization, and along with the Executive Team, plays a key role in the strategic direction of the organization. Will lead the finance, accounting and HR functions for the organization. This individual oversees a $300M business unit including financial planning & analysis, budgeting & forecasting, internal controls and compliance and allocation of capital in the US, Canada & Mexico with a later expansion into LATAM. S/he must be able to deliver assurance to the regional CEO around the accuracy & reliability of the region’s performance & profitability.

Background Required:
  • Senior management in finance & accounting (10 Yrs.)
  • International freight forwarding
  • P/L management ($300M min)
  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Tax audit & compliance (GAAP / SOX)
  • Monitoring and controlling country working capital
  • Currency conversion
  • Country financing through external and internal credit lines
  • LATAM experience
  • Financial analysis of financing projects
  • Risk Management
  • Implementation of financial & operating systems (i.e. Cargo Wise, SAP, Oracle)
  • Education: 4-year degree (i.e. Accounting or Finance)
  • Residence: Houston, TX (relocation assistance provided)
