Immediate need for REMOTE Clinical Documentation Specialist Manager

Large Health System seeking a partially Remote CDI Manager.

Job description:

The Manager of Clinical Documentation Improvement is responsible for daily operations of the organizations CDI Specialists. He/She will be primarily responsible for managing the Clinical Documentation Specialists staff and their performance, productivity, and accuracy including daily concurrent initial and follow up reviews, appropriate and compliant documentation queries, interactions with coders, and the patient care team. Works collaboratively with the Manager of IP Coding and providers to ensure quality clinical documentation to support appropriate severity of illness, expected risk of mortality and complexity of patient care. Oversees orientation and education of new providers to the organization's CDI program.
