Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a CAD Applications Consultant in the Winter Garden FL area

The Application Consultant (AC) drives success for the global client user community by combining product expertise with geospatial knowledge to deliver optimal process solutions. Supports account acquisition through value proposition demonstrations and account development by analyzing client operations, creating implementation plans, and identifying sales opportunities. Executes in-house/on-site training and contributes to internal process development.

Primary Responsibilities

General Training & Support

• Respond same-day to support requests; assess and resolve issues.
• Schedule/execute online training as needed.
• Update Zendesk documentation.
• Flag product/training sales opportunities to Business Development.

Account Acquisition Consulting

• Align consulting goals with acquisition opportunities; document objectives.
• Schedule and conduct prospect evaluation training; report progress.
• Coordinate closure and follow-up onboarding with Business Development.

Account Development Consulting

• Identify client-specific objectives with Business Development.
• Communicate client value in context of objectives.
• Develop and execute implementation plans (remote/on-site installation, training, process integration).
• Identify and pursue sales/integration opportunities.

Initiative Project Consulting

• Share product development insights with PD group.
• Provide technical support for initiatives.
• Evaluate/test client products.
• Develop/maintain educational curriculum.

General

• Multitask effectively; prioritize, document, and report progress.
• Maintain schedules per TSO protocols.
• Pursue ongoing technical development in software and related tech.
• Travel for promotions and on-site training.

Requirements:

· CAD with MicroStation — required. (Civil 3D familiarity is a plus.)

· Point-cloud / LiDAR workflows. (Mobile/terrestrial/aerial, registration, QA/QC, feature extraction.)

· Customer training & technical support experience (live demos, troubleshooting, documentation).

Nice to have

• Civil 3D; DOT standards; surveying/geomatics background.
• Scripting/automation (VBA/Python) for CAD.
• ASPRS, mobile mapping, or sUAS experience.
• Prior roles in applications engineering, technical support, training, or customer success.
