The Role of the Business Valuation Manager:

  • Perform quality of earnings engagements
  • Identify past valuation relationships who might be potential clients
  • Work effectively with a valuation team and collaborate on engagements
  • Provide mentoring of more junior valuation analysts
  • Understand clients and their unique business value.
  • Conduct management conversations in a way that complements longer-term relationships.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to quantify value.
  • Use valuation techniques, including capitalization of earnings, public company analysis, and discounted cash flow analysis
Background Profile:
  • Professional certifications in at least one of the following: ABV, CFA, ASA, CVA.
  • 6 years plus of business valuation experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong commitment to servicing client relationships
  • Valuation expertise and a track record of experience with privately-held organizations.
  • Collaborative leader who models and builds technical and communication skills of their staff.
