Job Description:

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work closely with fellow employees to understand our client’s needs, gather requirements, help facilitate solutions, and responsible for consulting with various key stakeholders. This role will be assigned to a specific client account that role will support.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Responsibilities
• Work with Client key stakeholders to gather business requirements and create an approved execution plan
• Create a requirement traceability matrix
• Author business and technical requirement documents
• Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures
• Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
• Conduct and coordinate financial, product, and operational research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client
• Develop and refine internal process improvements with suggested solutions
• Explain requirements to Developers
• Conducting user acceptance tests
• Comply with and help to enforce standard policies and procedures

Qualifications and Ideal Candidate Profile:
Business Development
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience with IoT, Smart Building Technology, Building Management/automation systems, CMMS/Asset Management Systems
• Experience with infrastructure servers, switches, desktops, phones, security, and audio/visual
Skills
• Agile / iterative project delivery experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal
• Strong ability to interact with onsite contacts at a management level
• High level of understanding of the Information Technology field
• Ability to interact with Client internal teams, vendors, providers, and contractors
• Ability to organize, plan and carry out complex assignments
• Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines and firm schedules
• Effective problem solving and negotiating skills
• Strong skills utilizing Microsoft Office Products, SQL, MS PowerBI, Tableu

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Duties are performed primarily in an office setting. Operates computer and standard office equipment, such as telephone and copier/printer. Employee must be at to sit, climb or balance, hear, use hands, taste/smell, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, talk, and reach with hands and arms.
Travel:
• Position may require travel and temporary relocation as required for specific work-related projects.
• Occasional travel may be required to locations for project work
