Salary: DOE per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex commercial litigation cases.
  • Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and briefs.
  • Engage in depositions and prepare for trial.
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Meet multiple deadlines and manage various cases simultaneously under pressure.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record, candidates expected to be in the top third of their law school class.
  • Must have Bar Admission in Texas.
  • 2-4 years of substantive experience in commercial litigation.
  • Proven background in handling civil and commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts.
  • Experience with litigation in industries such as real estate, construction, technology, and financial services.
  • Prior experience in an AmLaw 200 firm.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a case or being the primary attorney on substantial litigation matters.
  • A track record of achieving favorable outcomes in complex litigation scenarios.
  • Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
