Business Development & Client Success Manager
Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid/Remote flexibility)
About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development & Client Success Manager to join a growing team in the digital marketing industry. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships, driving revenue, and delivering measurable success for clients.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Client Acquisition & Sales

Build and close sales opportunities from inbound leads and self-generated prospects (LinkedIn, cold calling, networking, events, etc.).

Conduct needs assessments and develop tailored digital marketing strategies.

Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients.

Manage sales pipelines using CRM and generate contracts via Ignition App.

Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
🔹 Client Success & Relationship Management

Support clients during onboarding, kickoff calls, and campaign strategy development.

Maintain strong client relationships with proactive updates and upselling opportunities.

Partner with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and growth.
🔹 Brand Promotion & Events

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Participate in client and internal strategy meetings as needed.
🔹 Strategic Contribution

Contribute to sales and operational growth strategies.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in business development.
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (digital marketing industry experience is an asset).

Strong track record of lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closing.

Experience with structured sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Comfortable using CRM systems and virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).

Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to shifting priorities.

Ottawa-based preferred; ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and events.
