Business Development & Client Success Manager
Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid/Remote flexibility)

About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development & Client Success Manager to join a growing team in the digital marketing industry. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships, driving revenue, and delivering measurable success for clients.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Client Acquisition & Sales

  • Build and close sales opportunities from inbound leads and self-generated prospects (LinkedIn, cold calling, networking, events, etc.).

  • Conduct needs assessments and develop tailored digital marketing strategies.

  • Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients.

  • Manage sales pipelines using CRM and generate contracts via Ignition App.

  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.

🔹 Client Success & Relationship Management

  • Support clients during onboarding, kickoff calls, and campaign strategy development.

  • Maintain strong client relationships with proactive updates and upselling opportunities.

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and growth.

🔹 Brand Promotion & Events

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

  • Participate in client and internal strategy meetings as needed.

🔹 Strategic Contribution

  • Contribute to sales and operational growth strategies.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in business development.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (digital marketing industry experience is an asset).

  • Strong track record of lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closing.

  • Experience with structured sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Comfortable using CRM systems and virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to shifting priorities.

  • Ottawa-based preferred; ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and events.
