Business Development/Account Manager
Our growing client needs to add a Business Development/Account Manager to their sales team.
A Business Development Account Manager’s main objective is to develop strong relationships with assigned customers. They also answer customer queries, upsell and follow up on quotes submitted to customers.
- Call prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer supplier relationship
- Enter Quotes and process through Synergy
- Present Quotes to Customer, obtain Preliminary Design approval, Fabrication Commitment and/or Order Acknowledgement, and Deposit ·
- Maintain current sales funnel to ensure timely conversion of quotes to orders or identify lost sales
- Explain fabrication process, timelines, and introduce Project Coordinator to the customer
- Maximize business opportunities with existing clients by building and maintaining client relationships
- Learn company’s products and services and effectively present features/benefits to clients
- Work with Project Coordinator to ensure customer expectations and deadlines are met
- Maintain YOY increases in sales revenues with each assigned brand while attracting new brands
- Prepare sales information for customers
- Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels of fulfillment
- Work closely with the Director of Business Development to pursue identified opportunities
- Excel in responding to all client and customer communications through email and phone in a professional, courteous, and timely manner
- Organize, update, and maintain customer base in CRM by recording changes to customer accounts, updating service requests, adding accounts, and removing accounts as needed
- Act as the primary responder for all incoming client and customer calls
- Act as a key resource in quoting, order processing, and developing new customer relationships
Qualifications
- Two or more years of Business Development (Business to Business) Account Management experience
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Excellent people and customer service skills
- Well organized and self-motivated with an excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and excel
- Able to operate in a fast-paced market under pressure and tight deadlines
- Occasional travel locally and out of state
