Business Development Sales Representative
Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Business Development Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our digital marketing agency by identifying and generating new business opportunities. You’ll work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for acquiring new clients, promoting our services, and managing client relationships. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for digital marketing, strong communication skills, and a desire to build a career in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and target new leads, primarily focusing on businesses that could benefit from our digital marketing services.
Sales Outreach: Cold calling, email outreach, and following up with potential clients to secure initial meetings and generate interest in our services.
Client Meetings & Consultations: Conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand client needs and present tailored solutions that meet their business goals.
CRM & Data Management: Use HubSpot or similar CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and pipeline activity; ensuring accurate records of all interactions and follow-ups.
Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop personalized sales strategies that effectively engage prospects and convert them into clients.
Ad Platform Knowledge: Understand and communicate the benefits of various digital marketing ad platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.), as well as SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing tactics.
Membership Sales: Support in selling membership programs and services designed to provide long-term value to clients.
Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the agency’s capabilities and value proposition.
Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts and pricing, overcome objections, and close deals in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Experience: 2+ years in a sales role
Sales Methodology: Knowledge of SPIN Selling or similar consultative selling techniques is a strong asset.
CRM Proficiency: Experience using HubSpot or other CRM systems to track and manage sales activities.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and clearly articulate the value of digital marketing services.
Motivation & Drive: Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to contribute to the team’s success.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment while also being capable of working independently when needed.
Problem-Solving: Creative thinking and resourcefulness to adapt sales approaches to meet client needs.
Nice to Have:
Digital Marketing Experience: Familiarity with SEO, SEM, content marketing, and other digital marketing techniques.
Membership & Subscription Sales: Experience in selling membership or subscription-based services.
HubSpot: Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
AD Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
