We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate is energetic, relationship-focused, and skilled at identifying new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and lead generation efforts. This role is critical in driving company growth by developing qualified sales opportunities and supporting the sales team throughout the pipeline process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and social selling
- Identify and qualify prospective clients and decision-makers
- Schedule meetings and presentations for Account Executives and Sales Managers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients
- Research target markets, industries, and potential accounts
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and sales activities within CRM systems
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support lead generation campaigns
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity and sales goals
- Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments
- Provide excellent customer service and follow-up throughout the sales cycle
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, inside sales, B2B sales, or lead generation preferred
- Experience with sales and marketing within the service sector.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Superb sales, customer service, and administrative skills
- Experience in the restoration industry or insurance preferred.
- Software and technology proficiency.
- Strong work ethic
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with outbound prospecting and cold calling
- SaaS, technology, or professional services sales experience is a plus
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
