Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Sales of a non-asset full service 3PL organization offering truckload, refrigerated truckload, warehousing, and logistics services.

The Senior Business Development Representative is responsible for the complete sales process including prospecting, calling, lead generation, sourcing new business opportunities, pricing, and closing and managing a book of business. Responsible for drawing on unique competencies to demonstrate how the business can be beneficial to the customer. Ability to analyze, create presentations with experience working with customer service, and managing the startup process after the sale. Challenge is to increase revenues and maximize profitability.


Background Required:
  • Business Development / Sales in non-asset logistics environment (5+ years)
  • Verifiable growth track record
  • Strong Negotiation Ability
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Education: College Graduate or equivalent related work experience
  • Residence: Indianapolis, IN
