About the Opportunity
As a Business Development Representative at TAG HR, you will perform targeted outreach to generate new business opportunities, driving the sales cycle to successfully close deals and expand our client portfolio.
We’re looking for someone with the following:
- 3+ years of experience in a recruitment or similar professional services sales environment, preferably in a high-volume organization where meeting KPIs was essential
- Demonstrated success in fostering lasting relationships with senior-level decision-makers in professional services
- High level of comfort leveraging a variety of outreach methods to identify and engage prospects, both through cold and warm leads (email, phone, LinkedIn, industry and networking events, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple sales pipelines and re-prioritize on a regular basis
- Strong sense of urgency and persistence in moving the sales process forward
- Fluency in French is a strong asset
A Day in the Life
As a member of our Private Sector team, each day will look a little different as you focus on driving business growth within professional service industries. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Joining team check-in calls to provide updates on business development activities and collaborating on strategies to drive new opportunities
- Proactively identifying potential client organizations through targeted outreach and market research
- Engaging prospective clients by effectively communicating our service offerings and understanding their unique hiring needs
- Updating our CRM system with all client interactions, pipeline progress, and sales activities to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
- Attending client meetings and sales presentations, negotiating terms, and closing deals to expand our client portfolio
