Our client is a leader within the IP Address Management (IPAM) industry, working with small-medium enterprises, government, military, financial services, insurance, educational, retail and manufacturing organizations worldwide to solve their IP address management needs.  Growing rapidly, this innovative company is looking to hire a Business Development Representative.

 

Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position is responsible for aggressively expanding the company’s presence in the market through the proactive development of our product. Sales efforts are conducted in line with prescribed corporate sales strategy and utilizing various sales and marketing aids.

 

You will be responsible to generate sales leads by networking, cold-calling prospects and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy, creating sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities and documenting sales methodology.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in any field.
  • 1-3 years experience in an outside sales or cold calling capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in system based selling.
  • Must have excellent organizational, written and oral communication, listening and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to communicate in a variety of presentation environments.
  • Must possess the ability to design, develop, write and effectively communicate reports, proposals and sales strategies.
  • Technical knowledge related to networking is preferred.

Salary:

 

The salary range is $40,000-$50,000.  In addition to your salary, you will be eligible to receive a commission bonus ranging upwards to $40,000 annually and a comprehensive benefit package.
