Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO of a non-asset logistics company who has more than 200 years combined experience providing transportation solutions nationwide and is currently over $30 MM in revenue. They are highly experienced with TL freight, more specifically Reefer and Dry Van.
Responsible for the development of profitable Freight Brokerage business within his or her region. Will be responsible for the closing and development of profitable new business and managing the startup process after the sale. Will also coordinate with Managers, Pricing Analysts, and Operations team to create business solutions and long-term business relationships with perspective new customers. Challenge is to regionally expand account base, supporting profitable increased revenues within the company network.

Background Required:
  • Outside sales / Business Development within transportation/freight brokerage (3+ years)
  • Modes of Transportation (i.e. Temp-controlled, Reefer, Dry Van, Flatbed)
  • Regional and National accounts experience
  • Strong Selling and closing capabilities
  • Strong Negotiation Ability (Customer, Margin Integrity)
  • Contractual Business Process (RFP, RFI, RFQ)
  • Develop and execute business plan strategies
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Bachelor’s Degree OR four years minimum experience in related field
  • Residence: Georgia OR Home Office (Remote)
