Business Development Manager – Contract Manufacturing (Remote, Ireland)
A growing contract manufacturing business is seeking a Business Development Manager to develop and expand its customer base across Ireland.
This is a new business–focused role with clear ownership of the sales process in Ireland. It will suit an ambitious commercial professional who wants to build their career within a technically strong, regulated manufacturing environment, with the opportunity to grow alongside the business.
The role is remote, with regular customer engagement across Ireland.
The Role:
You will act as the primary commercial lead for Ireland, responsible for identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:

Proactively generating new business through outbound activity, networking, and market engagement

Leading the end-to-end sales process in Ireland, with responsibility for opportunity scoping, coordinating internal inputs, managing quotations, and progressing deals to close

Building early-stage customer relationships and leading commercial discussions

Working closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams to translate customer requirements into viable, compliant manufacturing solutions

Maintaining a structured sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM discipline
About You:
This role is suited to someone developing their career in technical or solution-based sales, with enough experience to engage credibly with engineering-led and regulated customers. The successful candidate will ideally be able the demonstrate the following:

Experience in medical device manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or technical B2B sales

Exposure to regulated manufacturing or quality-driven environments

Comfortable with new business development and proactive outreach

Commercially minded, technically curious, and keen to grow

Confident communicator with a professional customer presence
