Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CCO for a European owned company, that provides omni channel and order fulfillment solutions to its customers.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding business in the U.S looking for companies to establish themselves in Europe or already established in Europe. The primary focus will be selling omni-channel order fulfilment, warehouse & distribution services, and other value-added services to a defined target customer base. They will play an important role in establishing long-term strategic relationships that typically go beyond the sale of a single point solution. The Business Development Manager will manage the solution sales process and work cross functionally with other divisions within the organization. Challenge is to expand current account base, increase revenues and develop new profitable business.

Background Required:
  • Third Party Logistics Sales: Sales in eCommerce & Fulfillment
  • International Sales
  • Proven track record of closing accounts
  • Client Management
  • Developed and execute business plan strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to apply technology tools (i.e., CRM)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Travel: Domestic & International (Potentially)
  • Residence: Remote Office – East Coast
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Advanced Degree –MBA
  • Freight Forwarding (Key Account Management specifically with European trade lane)

  • Good communicator (Verbal & Written)
  • Built extensive network and relationships with key clients & accounts
  • Executive level interaction and presentation skills
