Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer of a leading freight solution provider with 13 locations (6 in the USA; 7 worldwide) and a portfolio of services that includes freight forwarding, air charters, warehousing, customs clearance & brokerage, and visibility tools. The organization is a global market leader that excels in mission critical shipments and carries an impeccable reputation in transporting big, heavy, ugly, special, oversized and project cargo.

The Business Development Manager’s primary role is to grow and maintain international and domestic business within the Americas Region by strategic, client focused, selling of all products and services. Coordinates complete sales cycle process including prospect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, RFQs, pricing, proposal preparation & presentation(s), contract signing, start-up and customer service follow-up after the sale. Communicates regularly with all company locations and maintains relationships with clients and internal staff to stay informed on the latest news and destinations that may be of importance in the future. Prepares all necessary paperwork including expense and sales reports in a timely manner. Coordinates special projects as assigned by manager and performs other duties as required or directed.
