About the Role

We are seeking a high-energy, competitive, and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our maintenance contract base in a large regional market. This role focuses exclusively on selling HVAC and Facility Management maintenance contracts through proactive prospecting and consultative selling. You will be the “hunter” who thrives on creating new opportunities and building relationships with decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Required:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for maintenance contracts.
    • Conduct cold calls, drop-ins, and attend networking events to generate leads.
    • Qualify prospects and manage opportunities through the sales cycle using a consultative approach.
    • Collaborate with technical experts for joint sales calls and solution development.
    • Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide timely reports.
    • Stay current on industry trends and best practices.
  • Preferred:

    • Suggest innovative strategies to improve client operations and reduce costs.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary: $80,000 – $130,000 annually (depending on experience; higher for exceptional candidates).

  • Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus, typically 15–20% of salary, tied to individual and company performance.
