Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO for a full-service global logistics provider offering end-to-end solutions ensuring the client’s product arrives on time and intact. The company provides supply chain management functions, including domestic and international transportation and warehousing services.
The successful individual will develop new business with a focus import logistics to include Air & Ocean transportation, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage. Opens and develops relationships with small to midsize customers while achieving assigned sales and revenue goals. Handles the full sales cycle, from prospecting, quoting, and making formal presentations to closing and then maintaining business. Penetrates and expands relationships and revenue with select assigned accounts. Proactively manages customer satisfaction and service delivery by anticipating potential service problems, monitoring satisfaction, and recommending process and delivery improvements. Challenge is to expand the organization’s market share while collaborating with the management team and being a key contributor to company success.

Background Required:
- Freight forwarding field sales (3 years)
- Knowledge of air, ocean, import, export & customs brokerage
- Proven track record of success
- Problem solving and negotiation skills
- Bids and proposals preparation
- Regional market knowledge
- Computer Systems: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Education: Minimum of two years of college or military service
- Residence: Home Office – Tri-State Area, USA
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Domestic freight forwarding
- Freight forwarding operations
- Warehousing & distribution
- “Hunter” mentality
- Superior communication (verbal & written)
- Excellent listening skills
- Executive level presentation (e.g., C level, VP, Directors)
- Goal oriented, disciplined, and motivated to produce results
