Position: Business Development Executive – Safety Solutions

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive – Safety Solutions to help drive the company’s North American expansion. This is not a traditional corporate sales role — you’ll be part of a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where your ideas, initiative, and ability to adapt will directly impact our success. The role includes an uncapped compensation model.

You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding our presence in key industries, and introducing clients to a portfolio of cutting-edge safety solutions. In our lean and agile team, you’ll collaborate closely with leadership, influence strategy, and grow alongside the company.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities with companies across multiple industries (construction, waste management, mining, tree care, etc.).

Promote services including safety consulting, change management, training, compliance audits, and safety culture programs.

Conduct client needs assessments and provide tailored safety solutions that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers, safety managers, and executives at the Director and VP level.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Deliver presentations, proposals, and service demonstrations to potential clients.

Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.

Track all sales activities and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.

Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and business growth objectives.

Required Background and Experience

Sales Expertise – Minimum 5–7 years of proven success in business development, account management, or sales, ideally within safety, EHS, technology, industrial services, or construction/mining sectors.

Industry Knowledge – Familiarity with workplace safety regulations, OSHA standards, and/or safety technology solutions; direct experience selling into industries such as construction, waste management, manufacturing, mining, or tree care is highly valued.

Entrepreneurial Mindset – Ability to thrive in a start-up/expansion environment; resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable building processes and pipelines from the ground up.

Client Relationship Management – Strong track record of establishing and nurturing executive-level and operational-level relationships (Director, VP, and Safety Manager audiences).

Consultative Selling Skills – Skilled at assessing client needs and tailoring solutions to align with compliance requirements and safety culture objectives.

Communication & Presentation – Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to deliver persuasive proposals, demos, and business cases.

Strategic Growth Orientation – Experience with go-to-market strategies, territory development, and long-cycle sales processes.

Technology Proficiency – Comfortable with CRM tools, MS Office/Google Suite, and virtual presentation platforms; experience with AI, video, or safety technologies a plus.

Education – Bachelor’s degree in Business, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Travel – Willingness to travel regionally/nationally (up to 40–50%) to build client relationships and attend industry events.
