The role:
The Business Development Associate will work with the Partners in managing existing client relationships, developing new client relationships, supporting strategic marketing initiatives, and providing interim and temporary solutions to clients.
Excellent compensation in line with experience, includes base and commission.
Responsibilities:
Business Development/Client Services:
- Gather business intelligence, including company, background, organization, budget, timelines, potential competitors, purchasing process, etc.
- Generate new leads through marketing calls, visits, and networking; analyze prospective clients’ needs and customize ideal strategic recruitment and staffing solutions.
- Set and attend sales appointments with key decision makers who hire at current and prospective client companies.
- Collaborate with internal account managers and Partners on key strategic client accounts.
- Identify, analyze, and close new business.
- Establish rapport and develop long-term business relationships with clients over the course of an extended sales cycle and account management.
- Track activity, achieving monthly activity goals.
- Maintain and update internal database with relevant information on current and potential clients.
Marketing:
- Support, implement and execute strategic marketing and communications plans, driving engagement and awareness of the Andrews & Cole brand.
- Develop marketing plan including planning and conducting professional and networking events to increase brand awareness and generate additional leads and referrals.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS is required.
- 0-2 years of experience in either sales, customer service, business development, or within our specialty, finance and accounting.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to connect with people, listen, and solve problems.
- Self-motivated, resilient, tenacious, able to cope with and learn from failure.
- Excellent compensation in line with experience, includes base and commission. Benefits include paid time off, volunteer time off, health and wellness perk, 401K plan, health, dental, vision and life insurance, profit sharing.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Excellent compensation in line with experience, including base and commission. Compensation ranges from $60,000-$90,000 base + $10,000-100,000 commission/bonus.
