Business Development & HR Projects Lead
Our client, a growing people consulting firm, is seeking a dynamic Business Development & HR Projects Lead to champion the firm’s market presence, strengthen client relationships, and drive new business opportunities.
This role combines business development, client engagement, and the design of HR-focused solutions and projects. The ideal candidate must have solid presence within the Ghanaian HR community, understands current people and organizational trends, and can represent the firm effectively across industry forums, events, and professional networks.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Engagement

Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to ensure continuity and long-term partnership.

Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities to grow the firm’s client base.

Lead client meetings, presentations, and proposal discussions to understand needs and offer tailored solutions.

Manage the end-to-end business development pipeline, from prospecting to closing.
HR Projects & Solutions Design

Conceptualize, develop, and package HR projects, programs, and service offerings that address market needs.

Collaborate with internal teams to design deliverables that are practical, relevant, and value-driven for clients.

Continuously assess industry trends to develop new products and enhance existing HR services.
Market Presence & Representation

Serve as the face of the firm in HR and business forums, conferences, virtual seminars, and networking events.

Build strong relationships within HR circles, professional associations, and relevant industry bodies.

Oversee the firm’s visibility and positioning in the market, ensuring consistent brand representation.
Strategic Leadership & Collaboration

Work closely with senior leadership to align business development strategies with organizational goals.

Provide insights on client needs, market trends, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.

Support the development of marketing materials, thought leadership content, and client engagement campaigns.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in business development, HR consulting, client management, or related roles.

Strong networks within the HR and people management space in Ghana (or regionally).

Proven experience generating leads, managing client accounts, and designing client-focused HR solutions.

Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to understand client needs and translate them into actionable project ideas and service offerings.

Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
