Our client is seeking a Social Media Manager who will support content publishing across our client's social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube. This role will work collaboratively with partners across the organization to promote their communication goals while maintaining and aligning with the Firm’s brand standards and messaging. The Social Media Manager will write, edit, approve and schedule social media content, monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities, ensure community health, create social activations around events, develop social images and video and coordinate social media activities on behalf of the Digital Strategy team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for social media request inbox; respond to requests quickly and suggest approach, draft social posts and follow through to publishing
• Responsible for general health and growth of Morgan Stanley’s communities; monitor social media channels daily for mentions or issues for escalation
• Obtain and track business approvals for social media content
• Create, crop and edit social media photos and videos
• Plan and present social media content calendar weekly; incorporate content from other sources like the corporate communications calendar and the digital strategy production plan
• Ensure social media content is tagged properly
• Regularly report on social media content performance and social media KPIs
• Attend events to get photography and video and create content for social media

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 2 years related professional experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience as social media coordinator
• Experience with photoshop
• Experience with Sprinklr and Simply Measured a plus
• Strong attention to detail required
• Project Management experience a plus
• Must be able to multitask and be organized
• Technical knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, metrics and tracking
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work within a team environment
• Copy editing
• Ability to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines
• Web publishing experience
