Job Description

Our IT solutions firm needs an IT Business Analyst to join our growing team. We are looking for
a professional with experience in both information technology and business administration. The
successful applicant will serve as the liaison between the executive and IT departments of our
company, leveraging the data the IT team extrapolates while also overseeing the selection and
implementation of technology solutions. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented
and highly innovative. They will also be responsible for translating business needs to IT
solutions, and vice versa, with current programs, projects, and initiatives in mind.

Responsibilities
 Manage business requirements: Analyze business processes, identify root cause, and
develop business requirements.
 Translate business requirements to technical specs and create user stories and
functional specifications.
 Provide developers with appropriate documentation and coordinate project execution.
 Support project implementation: Assist the business with user training, acceptance
criteria, and user acceptance testing.
 Build testing scenarios and perform testing with subject matter experts
 Anticipates and identifies opportunities for improvement.
 Assists in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional
documentation needs.
 Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and effectively prioritize multiple tasks
to meet stringent deadlines is essential as well as attention to detail.
 Highly motivated team member with strong interpersonal, analytical skills and
professional judgement.
 Perform other duties and assist other employees, as assigned by management.
 Work in a relaxed fun environment with developers that are top in their field.

Preferred Qualifications
 Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering, Project
Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word required
 Analytical skills – 4 years recent experience
 SQL – 2 years recent experience; writing and executing
 Self-starter with ability to quickly learn and adapt
 Well organized with excellent time management skills
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate
effectively across multiple levels.

 Experience with Agile or similar methodology
 Experience with continuous improvement roll outs and business enhancements
