APN Staffing is now hiring for a Business Analyst Senior - This is a Hybrid position with working office hours of (7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Friday). Long-term contract position until June of 2024. Hourly rate of pay is $35.03 an hour.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support for the testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance for the Department
Work with the Business Unit to identify, document, and report bug tickets in the vendor managed Service Desk platform
Conduct and document the results of special studies dealing with systems and/or business process issues
Work with the vendor and the business unit to prioritize issue tickets
Analyze and document business requirements and processes related to the enhancements of the Department
Participate in planning, scheduling, and conducting stakeholder sessions focused on requirements-gathering by assisting the Business Unit team with preparation and documentation (meeting minutes, agendas, existing requirements, workflows, UI/UX prototypes/mockups)
Plan and/or conduct end user training for new applications
Provide acceptance criteria in coordination with UI/UX for the HRTS software application
REQUIREMENTS:
Superior negotiating, analytical, group facilitation, and relationship management skills
Work effectively with all levels of State staff
Possess superior organizational and written/verbal communication skills
An understanding of current information technology with an ability to conceptualize solutions to business problems in the most effective manner
An ability to integrate solutions across multiple functional and technical environments is required
Requires a minimum of two years of experience in the last two years
Requires a minimum of five years of increasingly complex and responsible experience in the last five years
Must hold a BA/BS degree (advanced degree a plus)
