Business Analyst & Operations Manager

Location: Hamilton, ON (100% On-Site)

The Role

This position is designed for an insurance professional who naturally gravitates toward business systems, automation, and workflow efficiency. You will act as the crucial bridge between broker operations and IT, ensuring seamless system integrations while leading the charge toward a fully paperless, AI-enhanced environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Systems Mastery: Act as the primary administrator for the Broker Management System, continuously optimizing workflows, user access, and reporting.

• Digital Transformation: Champion the transition to a paperless environment. Test, implement, and manage modern AI-driven tools designed to increase processing speed and operational accuracy.

• Carrier & Data Management: Oversee data flow, eDocs, and item downloads across different insurance company portals, ensuring accurate system coding and connectivity.

• Project Leadership: Drive major internal technology initiatives, including system renewals, data backup protocols, and resolving complex third-party integration bottlenecks.

• Compliance & Risk: Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance and oversee the administration of internal corporate insurance policies

What You Bring

• 3+ years of insurance broker operations experience, coupled with a strong technical aptitude and passion for IT.

• Expert-level knowledge of EPIC software, specifically regarding workflow integrations and system administration.

• A proven track record of testing new software, driving paperless initiatives, and implementing operational efficiencies.

• Strong communication skills to effectively translate business needs between IT vendors, carrier representatives, and executive leadership.

• Active RIBO license and familiarity with third-party insurance automation platforms.
