Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO of one of the leading non-asset-based logistics providers offering full transportation services (LTL, FTL, Ocean, Air).
The Brokerage Manager will be tasked with the launch, development, and strategic management of a new Freight Brokerage business service offering. They will be responsible for the management of all sales and operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, and channel growth strategies. Will create profitable growth revenue by soliciting new sources of revenue and profit. Also responsible for the development and growth of an inside sales team. Manage all aspects of the sales functions including inside sales, customer service, and carrier sales. Will establish and manage carrier relations and development activities that support the execution of strategies and action plans to enable the profitable growth of the business unit. Will work in coordination with other company resources, develop the strategic and tactical direction for the business unit, and establish management processes. The challenge is to build a world-class team, develop high-level service offerings, motivate, and lead a staff, while increasing revenues and improving profitability.

Background Required:
- Sales and Business Development in non-asset transportation environment (4+ years)
- Mode of Transportation (i.e. Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, Specialized)
- Strong Selling Skills
- Strong Negotiation Ability (Carrier, Customer, Margin Integrity)
- Develop and execute business plan strategies
- Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
- Residence: Remote
- Sales Management (Hire, Train, Coach, Mentor) (2+ years)
- P&L responsibility
- Education: College Degree
