ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client, a high growth personal care company, is looking for a creative, enthusiastic Brand Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for a detail oriented, innovative and creative person who has a passion for brand development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Brand Manager will perform a diverse range of functions including but limited to:
- Brand Building - clearly and effectively get the brand’s purpose and vision out to accelerate growth
- Contribute to brand strategy, help with the evolution and/ or maintenance of the brand vision, mission, goals and ensuring it is consistent across all touchpoints
- Champion the brand internally and externally making sure all elements of the company and external stakeholders understand the brand and its goals
- Contribute to the development of go to market strategies, campaigns and goals that drive consumer demand
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Creative, Marketing, and Sales to develop and execute go to market Integrated Marketing Communications strategies, Programs, and Campaigns
- Develop high quality and effective marketing materials for toolkits that align correctly with the overall brand strategy
- Partner with key internal stakeholders and agency partners to develop and implement innovative strategies and promotional elements that drive sales
- Ability to analyze market trends, perform competitive auditing, and understand other market dynamics
- Assist with business management and analytics by analyzing data and coming up with insights to identify market opportunities to meet business objectives
- Conduct in-depth analysis of competitors, category, market, consumers, and products to garner insights to feed into the development of new products and go-to-market plans
- Evaluate the performance of executed activities and campaigns to ascertain their effectiveness in meeting brand objectives
- Track performance, identify issues, trends and opportunities, and continuously improving plans and their execution
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years' experience in Brand Management within CPG / Beauty & Personal care preferred
- Knowledge of category (major competitors, target users, industry trends) preferred
- Strong project management skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity, initiative driven to remove obstacles and accomplish goals
- Understanding of retail and shopper dynamics in Canada and US
- Ability to analyzing market data
- Strong passion for beauty and trends
- High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Hybrid Office: Able to work in office at least 3 days/week
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences - Psychology, Sociology, Economics), MBA preferred
