THE OPPORTUNITY
This role leads the innovation team by defining product vision, and champions cross-functional teams throughout the development process. The Brand Manager - Innovation is responsible for the innovation process and strategy, delivering new concepts from ideation to commercialization. A critical component of this role will be developing and managing comprehensive marketing plans to best position these products in the market, adhering to brand standards. This role is highly collaborative - the Brand Manager - Innovation will be the hub between Engineering, Sales, and Marketing Research. The Brand Manager - Innovation will present business cases to the executive leadership team for approval. A successful candidate will be a leader who can listen, facilitate, and steer cross-functional teams while being comfortable in a fast and constantly changing environment.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
This role reports to the Director of Marketing & Innovation

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Owns the ideation, innovation, and stage & gate process
• Defines product vision, product strategy and roadmap
• Defines project framework (opportunities, planning, budget, expectations and risks) with input from cross-functional teams
• Autonomously manages high-functioning cross-functional teams through all project actions
• Leads idea generation sessions with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintains three-year innovation pipeline delivering 15-20 new concepts
• Creates three-year sales projection, budget and business case for new product development and existing product refreshes
• Collaborates with Product Manager on the creation of Market Requirements Documents and Product Requirement Documents
• Defines research needs to build concepts business case
• Develops & implements marketing initiatives to support product launches
• Influences leadership team to adopt new products
• Continuously evaluates the new product development process and recommends process improvements
• Plays a leadership role within the company

REQUIREMENTS
• Marketing Degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management with a proven track record of success in leading product launches
• Excellent critical thinking, planning & organization, and analytical skills
• Consistently delivers data-driven insights and recommendations
• Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days at home
