Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice President Reporting of one of leading asset-based logistics providers offering full transportation services (LTL, FTL, Specialized, and Expedited).
The Branch Manager is responsible for the development and management of all sales and operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, and channel growth strategies for the branch. Will create profitable growth revenue with current accounts, while soliciting new sources of revenue and profit. Also responsible for development and growth of an inside sales, account management, and carrier sales teams. Will establish and manage carrier relations and development activities that support the execution of strategies and action plans to enable the profitable growth of the business unit. Will work in coordination with other company resources, develop the strategic and tactical direction for the business unit, and establish management processes. Challenge is to build a world-class team, develop high-level service offerings, motivate, and lead a staff, while increasing revenues and improving profitability.

Background Required:
  • Freight Brokerage Sales and Operations (6+ years)
  • Sales Management (Hire, Train, Coach, Mentor) (2+ years)
  • Mode of Transportation (i.e. Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, Specialized)
  • Strong Selling Skills
  • Strong Negotiation Ability (Carrier, Customer, Margin Integrity)
  • Develop and execute business plan strategies
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Residence: USA
