Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO of a premier asset-light based logistics provider specializing in flatbed, LTL, and intermodal along with a full-service freight brokerage.
The Branch Manager is responsible for the development and management of all sales and commercial activity including market competitiveness, pricing, and channel growth strategies for the Minneapolis location. Will create profitable growth revenue with current accounts, while soliciting new sources of revenue and profit. Also responsible for development and growth of an inside sales team, account management team, and potentially a carrier sales team. Will manage all aspects of the sales functions including inside sales, account management. Will work in coordination with other company resources, develop the strategic and tactical direction for the business unit, and establish management processes. Challenge is to build a world-class team, develop high-level service offerings, motivate, and lead a staff, while increasing revenues and improving profitability.

- Experience growing and scaling a Freight Brokerage operation (5+ years)
- Freight Brokerage Sales and Operations (8+ years)
- Sales Management (Hire, Train, Coach, Mentor) (4+ years)
- Carrier Sales Management and Development
- Mode of Transportation (i.e., Flatbed, Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, Specialized)
- Strong Selling Skills
- Strong Negotiation Ability (Carrier, Customer, Margin Integrity)
- Develop and execute business plan strategies
- Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
