Position Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, growth, and performance of the credit union branch. This role ensures exceptional member service, regulatory compliance, team leadership, and the achievement of financial and operational goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader committed to fostering a strong service culture and building lasting member relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage day-to-day branch operations to ensure efficiency and excellence in member service.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop staff to achieve performance and professional growth goals.
  • Drive branch growth through relationship building, product promotion, and community engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all credit union policies, procedures, and federal regulations, including BSA/AML.
  • Oversee lending, deposit services, and complex member transactions such as IRAs and trust accounts.
  • Monitor branch performance, financial metrics, and operational risks.
  • Maintain security controls, cash management, and facility operations, including ATMs and equipment.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in banking or credit unions, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of credit union operations, lending, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven leadership, sales, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with BSA/AML regulations and financial institution systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Work Schedule

  • Monday through Friday; no weekends required.
