Local aircraft company in North Tulsa is seeking to hire a 2nd shift Brake Operator.
1st Shift- M-F 6 am – 4pm pm, half day every other Saturday (7am-11am)
2nd Shift M-F 3pm-1am
The general purpose of the Brake Operator is to produce products using the Brake and Roll.

Identify major work functions and desired outcomes:
*Ability to read and understand blueprints
*Ability to read and us calipers and other precision measuring equipment.
*Ability to setup tooling on a brake
*Understanding of sheet metal bending practices

Essential vs. Non-Essential functions of the position:
A Brake Operator must be able to perform the following essential functions:
 Operate each of the brakes
 perform tool setups
 Read blueprints
 Have a basic understanding of sheet metal bending
 Have an understanding of brake operation
 Have an understanding of roll operations
 Must understand how to operate a shear

Required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience:
 Experience forming sheet metal parts on brake press
 Ability to read aerospace blueprints and specs
 Skilled in working with tight tolerances
Must be able to program the brake press


Physical and environmental requirements
Must be able to lift 50lbs multiple times throughout the day in a manufacturing environment
