Boys Designer

Our client, an apparel brand, is seeking a Designer for their boys division. In this role, you will utilize your design savvy for tops and bottoms, and understanding of the current market to design for their boys department and oversee design team

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design process from concept through product execution
• Identify current trends in color, fabric, silhouette, print and pattern
• Conduct competitive analysis
• Ensure product is consistent with brand identity
• Understand the screen-printing process
• Execute trend presentations each season
• Approve and ensure quality and fit of all product
• Follow up on fabric and trim orders

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related experience in boys/kids design
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or Fine Arts
• Strong proficiency in Adobe CS
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Project management skills
