We are seeking a highly motivated General Manager for a premier boutique property based on an interpretation of the classic California road trip experience. This property is owned and operated by a leading owner of curated hotels in California, frequently featured in Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, and Architectural Digest. We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to guide this "undiscovered" coastal gem while maintaining its authentic, untouched charm.
Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 (commensurate with experience) + bonus, comprehensive healthcare, 401k + match, and a great PTO plan.

- Relocation: You must be open to relocating close to the area. Relocation assistance can offer up to a 1-month stay + moving costs (amount is negotiable).
- Brand Ambassador: Act as the ambassador for the hotel and the ownership brand.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee all aspects of operations at the hotel as well as day-to-day staff, management, and guests.
- Strategic Leadership: Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of service culture, maximized operations, and guest satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Ensure that monthly financial outlooks are on target and accurate.
- Team Development: Hire, train, and monitor all hotel employees.
- Standards Maintenance: Maintain guest room standards to meet the expectations of a discerning guest base.
- Experience: 2+ years of manager or division head experience, preferably at a similar boutique property.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Guest Relations: Demonstrated ability to manage and elevate experiences for a discerning guest base.
- Financial Acumen: Knowledge of, or a strong willingness to learn, budgets and financial goals.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong attention to detail.
