A well-established hospitality ownership and management group is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeping Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of hotel properties. This position is based in the Cranford, NJ area and offers the opportunity to join a collaborative and growth-oriented team in a long-term, stable role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality accounting or bookkeeping, experience managing financial reporting, and a solid understanding of accounting best practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all bookkeeping functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across multiple entities

Work closely with property managers and leadership to ensure accuracy of financial records and budget tracking

Reconcile credit card statements and ensure timely payments to vendors

Maintain organized documentation for audits, tax filings, and compliance purposes

Assist with payroll processing and benefit reporting as needed

Identify areas for efficiency and process improvement within the accounting workflow
