Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant – Onsite (Ptree City/Newnan area)
Our client located in the Newnan/Peachtree City area is looking to hire a Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant to join their team. This position is open due
To growth and will report to the Controller/CFO so its highly visible.
Duties include:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices and payments. Including A/R collections.
- Maintaining W-9 records for all vendors.
- Managing all 1099 contractor payments and records.
- Run by weekly payroll for 20-30 employees using ADP.
- Maintain employee records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile bank feeds for bank and credit card accounts.
- Prepare weekly reports for accounts receivable and payable.
- Maintain a comprehensive electronic filing system for all financial records.
- Assist with month end and year-end closing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping
- Proven expertise in QuickBooks Online Plus (or above), with QBO certification preferred.
- Experience with ADP run payroll processing is a strong plus.
Base salary 50k-60 plus excellent benefits and opportunity for long term growth.
