  • Knowledge of tools and instruments to operate, repair, install, and adjust boiler, refrigeration, oil and air systems.
  • Conducts tests on systems as needed.
  • Ensures shops and repaired equipment areas are clean to prevent product contamination or damage.
  • Understands lubrication procedures on area equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies to ensure employee safety.
  • Interact and communicate with B&R Supervisor and Planner to coordinate daily tasks.
  • Assist with developing procedures
  • Follow GMP and safety rules/policies for shop and plant.
  • Maintain personal skill level consistent with changes within the company.
  • 5S mechanics work are as needed to ensure it is clean and safe.
  • Oversee compliance of audits as requested.
  • Interact and communicate with other departments within the company as requested.
  • Interact and communicate with contractors as requested.
  • Provide training and guidance to other B&R Operators or other maintenance departments
