Board Certified Psychiatrist

We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in Wyomissing, PA, offering a salary between $275,000 to $300,000, additional bonuses, and a comprehensive relocation package. This role will allow you to engage in both outpatient psychiatric care and hospital-based consultative services, ensuring a rich and diversified clinical experience. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of the field by teaching and mentoring Psychiatry residents and medical students in our newly established residency program. Salary: $275,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evidence-based treatments in an outpatient setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in hospital settings to deliver high-quality consultative services.
  • Mentor and educate Psychiatry residents and medical students as part of a residency program.
  • Participate actively in the development and expansion of psychatric services including a medical complexity unit, a dedicated Consultation/Liaison service, and extensive outpatient services throughout Berks County.
  • Implement and oversee innovative programs such as Medication Assisted Treatment and Behavioral Medicine Pain Management.
  • Deliver specialized care through our Assertive Community Treatment Program and Senior Assessment Program.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • MD, DO, or equivalent foreign degree required.
  • Completion of ACGME accredited psychiatry residency or fellowship.
  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
  • Possess or eligible to obtain a valid PA Medical License.
  • Recent graduates or candidates coming out of training are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing complex psychiatric cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong commitment towards the academic aspects of psychiatry and resident education.
  • Leadership experience in clinical or academic settings is an asset.
