Position Description:
Under general supervision from the Administrator, the Biomedical Technician will be responsible for implementing preventative maintenance, electrical safety and performance testing, and bench and field service repairs on most medical electronic equipment. Assists in and occasionally coordinates equipment installations/project work with supervisory technicians. Participates in training lower-level technicians. Provides in-service to clinical staff on most medical equipment.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Associates degree or vocational or specialized training in biomedical or electrical engineering
- At least 6 months experience post gradutation
