About the Company

Join a powerhouse in the life sciences industry that’s redefining excellence in biological manufacturing. Our client is a well-established leader in the biotech space, known for delivering high-quality biological materials used in pharmaceutical, research, and agricultural applications. If you're looking for a company where your contributions matter and your leadership drives real innovation, this is the place to be.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on, solutions-driven Bio Production Lead to guide daily operations in a dynamic production environment. This isn't your average lead role—this is your chance to make an impact at the front lines of biotech manufacturing. You’ll serve as a mentor, problem solver, and quality champion—ensuring every product that leaves the floor exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example—providing direct support, oversight, and training for technicians across all phases of biological production.
  • Own the process: From tissue collection to plasma, custom products to sterile filtration, you’ll be the go-to expert for a diverse set of critical production lines.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and adjust workflows in real time to meet shifting priorities.
  • Collaborate with management to identify process improvements and boost production efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with USDA, FSIS, ISO, OSHA, and internal GMP standards—because quality isn’t optional.
  • Prepare and manage batch records in the ERP system with obsessive attention to detail.
  • Participate in onboarding and safety training efforts to level up team knowledge.
  • Monitor team performance and provide input for annual reviews.
  • Model exceptional attendance, punctuality, and work ethic.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's in biology, chemistry, or a related life sciences field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in production or manufacturing—biotech, pharma, or lab settings a plus.
  • A strong grasp of ISO standards, biological production, and regulated environments.
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs; ERP experience a bonus.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently, lead with integrity, and handle the occasional curveball with grace.
  • A commitment to precision and a passion for excellence in every detail.

Bonus Points For:

  • Previous exposure to sterile environments, tissue processing, or high-complexity lab work.
  • Experience mentoring or informally leading team members.
  • Familiarity with regulatory audits or SOP documentation.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Fast-paced, hands-on environment involving regular standing, lifting (up to 100 lbs), and exposure to biological materials.
  • Some exposure to cold storage environments (-20°C and below).
  • Standard lab safety protocols and equipment use required.

Why You Should Apply

  • Be part of a growing, mission-driven company that’s making real contributions to science and healthcare.
  • Lead meaningful projects with autonomy, visibility, and career growth potential.
  • Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a stable, yet forward-looking organization.
