Bilingual Receptionist / Scheduler – OB/GYN Practice

We are seeking a dedicated, friendly, and patient-focused Bilingual Receptionist/Scheduler to join a growing OB/GYN practice serving the Orlando and Ocoee communities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will play an important role in creating a positive patient experience by managing appointments, supporting front office operations, and communicating effectively with patients in both English and Spanish.
Position Summary
The Bilingual Receptionist/Scheduler is responsible for greeting patients, coordinating appointments, supporting daily administrative operations, and ensuring efficient communication between patients and medical staff. This role requires professionalism, organization, compassion, and strong multitasking abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails, providing assistance in both English and Spanish
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments accurately within the scheduling system
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays and payments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Assist patients with completing forms and provide information regarding office services and procedures
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and effective communication
- Address patient inquiries and resolve concerns professionally and promptly
- Perform administrative duties including filing, scanning, data entry, and record management
- Support additional front office and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Additional education in healthcare administration or medical office support is a plus
- Previous experience as a receptionist, scheduler, or administrative assistant preferred, ideally in a medical office setting
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish — required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems preferred
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
