Who:
We are seeking an organized, proactive associate with 1–2+ years of public accounting experience and native-level Italian language skills.

You will support audit engagements, prepare tax returns, perform technical research, and deliver high-quality auditing and tax compliance services to Italian manufacturing and distribution clients.

Position Overview:
The Bilingual (Italian/English) Associate (Audit & Tax) will support a variety of audit and tax engagements, assist in preparing tax returns, conduct technical research, and communicate closely with team members and clients to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform audit engagements, primarily for manufacturing and distribution clients.

Develop and execute audit programs by defining objectives, identifying risks, assessing controls, and designing test procedures.

Assist with preparing tax returns and related client communications.

Prepare Federal and state corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.

Conduct technical accounting research across various accounting and tax topics.

Deliver high-quality services that consistently exceed client expectations.

Maintain active communication to manage timelines and client satisfaction.

Prepare clear and concise workpapers and documentation.

Organize priorities and provide progress updates to team leaders.
Qualifications:

Native-level Italian language proficiency (written and verbal).

1–2+ years of professional experience, including public accounting.

BA/BS in Accounting or Master’s in Accounting/Taxation.

Strong English writing, research, and communication skills.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and process-oriented mindset.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:

U.S. CPA license or in progress.

Currently residing and working in the U.S.

Experience with ProSystem fx Engagement, ProSystem fx Tax, and CCH Axcess.
